EV1000 Series PIR Motion Detectors now SCEC Endorsed

UTC Fire & Security recently announced that the complete EV1000 range of detectors has recently been tested and approved by the Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC).

In April 2010, UTC Fire & Security launched the EV1000 mirror optic PIR series of motion detection devices, the latest in motion detection technology and replacement for the industry leading EV125-P and EV425-P detectors. All of the expertise and technology from the EV125-P/425-P has been leveraged in these EV1000 series devices as well as adding industry leading anti-masking variants to the product family for sabotage and high risk environments.

This SCEC approval further solidifies Aristech's position as the market leader in advanced detection products. SCEC approval does not only apply to government and high security applications. Many corporations look to SCEC approval as a benchmark in product reliability and quality.
